Eminent litterateur Chandrasekhar Rath passed away at the age of 89. He died of old age ailments. He has also received literary awards like Sahitya Akademi Award and Sarala Award.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh released a book titled “Mere Sapnon ka Bharat”. It is a compilation of interviews of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee by former MP Tarun Vijay.
